Model SRE-2010
Elite Straight Indoor Stairlift
Bruno's Highest-Capacity Indoor Straight Lift
The Elite is Bruno's premium straight indoor stairlift, designed for a higher weight capacity and greater seating comfort. An offset swivel seat rotates a full 90° at the top landing for a safe, easy exit, and the seat and footrest are available in larger sizes to fit your needs.
Power Options Available
Power swivel seat, power folding footrest, and power folding rail can be added to make everyday operation easier and reduce the amount of manual movement required.

Model SRE-2010E
Elite Straight Outdoor Stairlift
Built for Every Season
Bruno's outdoor version of the Elite, engineered for year-round exposure. Weather-resistant seat materials, a lightweight protective cover, and an anodized aluminum rail keep it running reliably from 0°F to 125°F — ideal for front steps, decks, and backyard access.
Power Options Available
Power swivel seat and power folding footrest can be added to the Elite Outdoor for added convenience.

Model SRE-5000
Elan Straight Indoor Stairlift
A Compact, Dependable Straight Stairlift
The Elan is a Made-in-USA indoor straight stairlift with a 300 lb capacity, a narrow vertical rail that installs close to the wall, and continuously charging batteries that keep it operating during a power outage. Its compact design and smooth, dependable ride make it a practical choice for straight staircases.
Power Options Available
Power swivel seat, power folding footrest, and power folding rail can all be added to the Elan — the folding rail lets the bottom section lift out of the way entirely if it sits near a doorway or hallway.

What to Expect
From First Measurement to First Ride
A straight stairlift is the fastest path to a safer staircase — in most homes, from first phone call to first ride in about a week. Here's exactly how the process works.
Free In-Home Consultation
A mobility specialist measures your staircase, checks the clearance at the top and bottom landings, and helps you choose between the Elan and Elite, plus any power options. You'll leave with an exact quote — no cost, no obligation.
About 1 hourYour Rail Is Cut to Length
Straight rail comes in stock sections, so there's no custom fabrication wait — we cut your rail to the exact length of your staircase. That's the whole reason a straight lift is dramatically faster and less expensive than a curved one.
Days, not weeksProfessional Installation
Our factory-trained technicians mount the rail directly to your stair treads — not your walls — so there's no structural work and no damage to your staircase. Most straight installations are finished in about a day.
About a dayTraining & Ongoing Service
Before we leave, we walk you and your family through operating the lift, the swivel seat, the remote calls, and the battery backup. After that, Altamira handles service and maintenance for the life of your stairlift.
Same day & beyondWays to Pay for a Straight Stairlift
Depending on your individual situation, VA benefits, financing, insurance, state programs, or other assistance may provide options for qualifying accessibility needs. Coverage and eligibility vary by program.
VA Benefits for Veterans
HISA does not cover stairlifts or stair glides. VA guidance treats stair glides as medical equipment for home use that may instead be furnished through Prosthetic & Sensory Aids Service when medically necessary and authorized. Veterans with certain qualifying service-connected disabilities may also be eligible for SAH or SHA disability housing grants for broader home adaptations. Whether a particular stairlift or home adaptation qualifies depends on the Veteran's eligibility, medical need, and VA authorization. Our guide to the differences between HISA, SAH, and SHA explains these programs in more detail. As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Altamira has served 25,000+ Veterans.
Monthly Financing
Financing is available for qualified buyers on eligible purchases, allowing you to spread the cost across monthly payments rather than paying the full amount up front. We'll review available financing options and terms during your free consultation.
Other Funding Sources
Depending on your situation, state waiver programs, Area Agency on Aging assistance, long-term care insurance, or nonprofit grants may help offset the cost. Original Medicare generally does not cover stairlifts — our complete funding guide walks through additional potential options.
Eligibility, award amounts, coverage, and authorization requirements vary by program and individual circumstances. Altamira can help identify potential options, but final determinations are made by the VA, insurer, financing provider, or administering agency. Have questions before you book? Call (800) 343-1066 and ask for a mobility specialist.

Straight Stairlift Model FAQs
What is the difference between the Bruno Elan and Bruno Elite?
The Bruno Elan is a compact indoor straight stairlift with a 300 lb capacity and a slim vertical rail that installs close to the wall. Altamira carries both the SRE-3050 and SRE-5000 Elan models. The Bruno Elite SRE-2010 offers a higher 400 lb capacity, adjustable-width armrests, and larger seat and footrest options. Both use continuously charging batteries and can continue operating during a power outage.
What is the Bruno Elan SRE-3050?
The SRE-3050 is a Bruno Elan straight indoor stairlift available through Altamira. It features a slim vertical rail, smooth direct-drive operation, continuously charging batteries, and a 300 lb lift capacity. Altamira provides new installations, maintenance, repairs, and parts support for the SRE-3050.
Is my Bruno Elan SRE-3000 stairlift still supported?
The SRE-3000 is an earlier Bruno Elan model that is no longer offered by Altamira for new installations. Altamira may still be able to inspect, maintain, and repair an existing SRE-3000 and help locate compatible replacement parts when available. A newer model number alone does not mean a working stairlift must be replaced.
What power options are available for Bruno stairlifts?
Depending on the stairlift model and configuration, available power options may include a power swivel seat, power folding footrest, and power folding rail. These features can make the stairlift easier to use by reducing the need to twist, bend, or manually fold parts of the lift.
Can power options be added to an existing stairlift?
Some power features may be available for existing stairlifts, but compatibility depends on the model, age, rail configuration, and existing equipment. An Altamira technician can inspect your stairlift and explain which upgrades are compatible with your unit.
How is the outdoor Bruno Elite different from the indoor Elite?
The outdoor Bruno Elite SRE-2010E has the same 400 lb lift capacity as the indoor Elite but is designed specifically for exterior staircases. It includes weather-resistant seat materials, a protective cover, and an anodized aluminum rail rated for temperatures from 0°F to 125°F. The outdoor model carries a 5-Year Limited Warranty, while the indoor Elite includes Bruno's Limited Lifetime Warranty on the motor, gearbox, and rail for the original purchaser.
How much does a straight stairlift cost installed?
Bruno Elan indoor straight stairlifts, including the SRE-3050 and SRE-5000, generally range from $3,000 to $6,000 installed. Bruno Elite and outdoor straight stairlifts generally cost more because of their increased capacity, available seating options, and outdoor protection. Final pricing depends on staircase length, selected features, installation requirements, and site conditions. Altamira provides an exact quote after a free in-home consultation.
Which straight stairlift model is right for me?
The right stairlift depends on the user's weight-capacity needs, staircase dimensions, available space, indoor or outdoor placement, and preferred power features. During a free consultation, Altamira will evaluate your staircase and recommend the Bruno Elan or Elite configuration that best fits your home and mobility needs.
