No. Compatibility depends on the vehicle year, make and model, available space, mobility-device dimensions and weight, and the lift being considered. For example, the Joey is designed for minivans, select SUVs, and some full-size vans; the Curb-Sider has applications for vans, SUVs, and trucks; the Chariot can work with sedans, SUVs, and vans; and the Out-Rider is specifically designed for pickup trucks.

Capacity varies by model. The Out-Sider, Joey, and Chariot are rated for mobility devices up to 350 lb. Curb-Sider models are available in 250 lb, 400 lb, and 450 lb capacities. The Out-Rider is available in 100 lb, 200 lb, and 350 lb versions. The mobility device's actual weight and dimensions must be matched to the selected lift and vehicle.

For example, the Out-Sider uses device-specific securement, the Joey includes a safety barrier, the Chariot uses self-tensioning belts and a platform safety latch, and the Out-Rider uses a docking system. Exterior lifts and mobility devices are more exposed to rain, snow, road spray, and winter conditions than equipment stored inside the vehicle. Bruno specifically designs the Out-Rider for outdoor use, and protective covers are available for models such as the Out-Sider and Chariot. Maintenance and care should follow the instructions for the specific lift model.

If keeping the mobility device protected from direct weather exposure is a priority, an interior lift such as the Curb-Sider or Joey may be a better option when compatible with the vehicle.

There is no single expected lifespan for every vehicle lift. Service life depends on the model, frequency of use, vehicle application, exposure to weather, maintenance, and operating conditions. The Bruno vehicle lift families featured on this page are currently backed by an applicable 3-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty; warranty terms and exclusions vary by product.

Some Bruno vehicle lifts can be transferred or reinstalled on another compatible vehicle. A new fitment check is required because the next vehicle may need different mounting components, hitch equipment, bases, wiring, or other parts. Compatibility should always be confirmed before moving an existing lift to another vehicle.
